Summer Music Internship opportunities

South Carolina Baptist churches are providing multiple opportunities across the state for college students to work shoulder to shoulder with pastors, worship leaders, and staff to get hands-on experience with real ministry responsibility.

Aiken

Millbrook Baptist, Aiken

The Millbrook Internship is a 10-week program open to current college students (freshmen-seniors) to enable you to gain intentional discipleship, hands-on learning, and exposure to our church culture. This is for those who feel called to leadership in the local church. There will be hard work and fun! Interns will assist next generation ministry preparing for events, camps, and a mission trip. Our goal for the internship is to develop leadership skills and giftings for future ministry, connect with pastors and ministry leaders on a daily basis as we lead our church through challenges, and walk with you as you are discerning your calling to ministry.

At Journey Church, we are intentional about creatively developing young leaders to serve Christ with integrity, authenticity, and excellence, and then deploying them as a part of Christ’s Kingdom.

Our Summer Internship experience is a key part of this mission.

This May 29 thru August 1, this intensive internship experience will give selected college-aged students (18-25) a robust and unique opportunity, at one of the most pivotal points in their lives.
As an intern, you’ll dedicate a summer to grow in their understanding of Jesus, the Church, and possibly discover your unique role in future Kingdom work.

Summer Ministry Leader Internship

The Ministry Leader Summer Internship is a 9-Week program for college students to be spiritually developed and grown as leaders in the Church. As a summer intern, you will learn what it looks like to work shoulder to shoulder with our pastors and staff and get hands-on experience with real ministry responsibilities.

Utica Baptist, Seneca has internships that are provided and paid for through the South Carolina Baptist Convention and the Janie Chapman Offering. Each intern will be paid for their work and will be asked to work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday. Summer Internship extends from May 26 through August 3.

Establish Network Internship

The Internship is a leadership development ministry of Taylors First Baptist Church that provides college age young adults the opportunity to be actively involved in the ministry alongside faithful and experienced ministers. Young adults have the opportunity to serve within the Worship Ministry, Equip Ministries, and Reach Ministries. The goal is not only for each intern to grow in their ministry skills, but also in their character and call.
