Camp La Vida is not just another summer camp.

It is a place where hearts are ignited with a passion for missions and a deeper connection with God.

A Passion for Missions and Ministry 

Camp La Vida stands out for its commitment to missions and ministry. As one former camper-turned-staffer, Faith Sparks, explains, “My favorite thing about Camp La Vida is the focus we have on missions because I’ve always had a heart for missions and ministry.” This focus is at the core of the camp’s mission, creating an environment where young girls can explore their faith and develop a heart for serving others.

Campers learn about missions through firsthand accounts from missionaries across the globe. “It’s just such a big part that we are able to teach these little girls about it and see their hearts light up and their eyes light up once they learn about missions and see a different side of it here at camp,” Sparks said.

Seeing Life Transformation 

One of the most rewarding aspects of Camp La Vida is witnessing the transformation of young campers. Returning year after year, camp staffers get front-row seats to the life transformation of campers. “One of my favorite things about camp is being able to see all these girls and seeing how God has worked through them during their entire time here,” staffer Abigail Wheless said.

“We would love for anyone to come join us as staff. It’s so much fun. It’s awesome to pour into these girls and just have fun and hang out with all these girls,” Wheless said. It’s a chance to make a difference in the lives of young girls and be a part of a supportive, faith-driven community.
