Richard and Emily B

Richard and Emily are a year and a half into their first term serving in Central Asia. They were most recently living in Greenville, SC when they each, individually, felt God calling them to full-time overseas work. They now live in a predominantly Muslim, closed country where proselytizing is illegal.  Richard is a medical doctor, working at a local clinic, and Emily is a teacher, homeschooling their two daughters (8 and 6 years old).  The B family see God working as the local church slowly grows.  Much effort is being put into discipleship and pastoral training, as it is currently dangerous to meet with locals for church. 

Prayer Requests:

• Please pray for continued opportunities to make local friends and deepen relationships and or God to lead them to people who have soft hearts and opened ears! 
• Please pray for language learning. They are both spending 20-30 hours a week learning the local language.  Please pray for stamina in this endeavor. 
• Please pray that their marriage is a loving picture of Christ and the Church. Please pray that their children continue to grow in knowledge, love, faith and obedience towards our God. Please pray that their family learns to only walk on His path for them.
