Nathan and Tessa Baker – serving in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSAP) with the International Mission Board

Nathan and Tessa have served in Madagascar for 11 years. They live on the southwest coast of the island, in a rural beach town called Toliara that is a hub for at least five of Madagascar’s unreached people groups. They love serving alongside the local Malagasy church to give the least reached of Madagascar the opportunity to hear and respond to God’s Word in their everyday language. The Bakers have three children who attend the local French school. Especially this month, pray as two local evangelical denominations host their large biennial meetings in Toliara!

Prayer requests:

Pray for the many believers who will flood into Toliara for the big meetings. Pray for them to share the Gospel often throughout their visits. Pray for the local churches to be ready with follow-up strategies for those who come to faith. Join Nathan and Tessa in praying for a new church plant from these efforts.

Pray for unity, love, wisdom, and encouragement for the believers who attend the meetings.
