Joshua and Marilyn Austin

Joshua grew up in Camden and met his wife Marilyn (a Winthrop BCM graduate) while serving with the IMB during a Hands On term in Southeast Asia. After serving with church planting and Unreached People Group (UPG) work in New York City, they returned to South Carolina to serve with the SCBC as the BCM director in Charleston. After five years in Charleston, the Lord called the Austins back to New York to serve with NAMB’s Chaplaincy Team as the BCM director at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. This is a special assignment for Joshua since his father (Thomas Austin IV of Camden) became a follower of Jesus while attending West Point.
Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for BCM to make more disciples for Jesus among the cadets from every U.S. state and territory.
2. Pray for the cadets to see themselves as Christians first and soldiers second.
3. Pray for the officers that return to West Point as instructors and invest countless hours in cadets. Pray that they would boldly share Jesus.
4. Pray for the immeasurable impact these cadets will make in future generations in our battlefields, courtrooms, classrooms, houses of government, and more.
