C and S

C and S have two children, a son and a newborn daughter, both born overseas. For almost two years, they have been working with the Deaf in “Tourist Town” in West Africa, visiting Deaf groups to learn the local sign language and share who Jesus is as opportunities arise. Most of the Deaf they encounter are Sufi Islam. They have also been working with one Deaf believer, “Mat,” especially to teach Bible stories about being a follower while facing pressure and persecution.

Prayer Requests:

• – For “Mat” to endure as a follower in spite of the pressure and persecution from his family and peers.
• That, as C and S have shared and as “Mat” will be able to join them in sharing in the future, more Deaf will see the light of Christ and trust Him.
• C and S will go on stateside assignment soon, Pray that they will receive needed rest but also share with churches God’s work among the Deaf in West Africa.
