Amelia

Amelia has been serving in APAC since 2023. Her team’s ministry focuses on young adults, teaching English to both equip them to launch into their professional careers and also afford the team opportunities to share the Truth with these students.

The island where she lives is home to nine million people and the native home of at least five UPGs (unengaged people groups), two completely unengaged with the gospel. While the vast majority of the people in this region hold to Islamic beliefs, large numbers of Buddhist and Hindu peoples live on the island as well.

Prayer requests:

• More laborers – there is so much work to be done. Pray for both the sending of believers to this island but also the equipping of believers who already live here.

• The students at the English center – as they enter Ramadan and begin to ask God for visions – that He would reveal Himself to them and their eyes would be opened to the Truth of the Gospel.

• Visas – the team has many new folks and they have struggled to secure more than temporary visas.
