What is SCGO Students?

SCGO Students is an effort to leverage our family of churches to ensure every student in our state has the opportunity to participate in a short-term mission trip.
While some churches have the resources to provide these opportunities, many do not. Our goal is to make sure no student misses the chance to obey the Great Commission, thanks to the collaboration of our network of churches.
Mission projects are led by experienced short-term mission trip leaders, known as "Certified Sending Partners," from South Carolina Baptist churches. These host churches generously offer spots for students from other churches within the state convention. They handle the application process, manage finances, lead training, and oversee the mission trips, making it possible for students from all churches to engage in impactful mission work.
SCGO Students - Frequently Asked Questions
Any student of a SCBaptist church can participate in SCGO Students. Further requirements will be determined by each Certified Sending Partner. The goal of SCGO Students is to provide mission projects for students that do not otherwise have a similar opportunity through their own local church.Â
