Brandon Bowers is the founding and Lead Pastor ofÂ
Awaken Church in Charleston, SC. Awaken was planted in 2013 with nine people and has grown into a multi-site church with 1,500+ in attendance, 750+ baptisms and 55% of adults connected into small groups that meet throughout the region for discipleship. Additionally, the church partners with 20+ non-profits through Love My City missions locally while investing heavily with church planting partners nationally.
Brandon is passionate about seeing people far from God awakened to life in Christ and then joining in on the mission of following Jesus and making disciples. He holds a BA in Corporate Communication from the College of Charleston and an MA from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Ashley for 21 years and they have two sons, Brailey (18) and Bryson (16), and two daughters, Brinkley (14) and Brooklyn (10).
