Launch Day for View Church Duncan
February 12th was an exciting day for Buddy Hall and for the Start Network of the South Carolina Baptist Convention. That was the day that View Church Duncan officially launched. A new church plant in Duncan, SC, and partnering with View Church and ID Clifton, View Church Duncan exists to create disciples who love God with their entire heart while also loving others. After four pre-launch services, the church was ready for their official Launch Sunday on April 12th, 2023.
“We had an amazing crowd and an amazing service,” Pastor Buddy Hall said. Hall worked in youth ministry, prison ministry, and inner city ministry before answering the Lord’s call to plant a church. “We’re very thankful for what God is doing here in Duncan, South Carolina.”
View Church Duncan is a church plant of the Start Network, a ministry of the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The Start Network’s goal in missional church planting is to glorify God, grow His Kingdom, and develop healthy churches with new converts.
Ricky Wilson, Lead Pastor of ID Clifton and Next Generation Evangelism Strategist at SCBaptist, said that Buddy “is an anointed leader who God is doing great things through. We are so thankful to have him.”
Church leaders feel that they have already seen great engagement from the community. Adam Forringer, Pastor of Students and Children, said that they are “very excited to continue moving forward to pursue the mission that God has called [them] to.” He also feels that the Lord is moving through View Church Duncan and in their community.
Both Buddy and Adam expressed their thanks to the partners at SCBaptist for the support they received in launching View Church Duncan. “We’re grateful to our partners at the Baptist Convention for helping us out, getting this launch started. We’re excited to continue working and growing in this community,” Hall said.
