Emotionally Healthy Leadership in the Modern Church
Emotional health is a critical but often overlooked aspect of being an effective church leader. As we face unique pressures, joys, and trials, prioritizing emotional health is essential for having a healthy ministry and sustainable leadership. Acknowledging one’s emotional health and working on it like any other discipline better equips us to handle conflicts, manage stress, and foster spiritual formation in our congregations. This breakout is designed to create a culture of openness and support for those in ministry about emotionally healthy leadership. We will explore how our own vulnerabilities can be an encouragement for those in our church to work on their own emotional health without fear and judgment. By addressing this area, we hope to help leaders extend their longevity and effectiveness in ministry as we explore practical strategies for church leaders to pursue biblically focused emotional health.
