Too often there is only silence before a teenager says the words, “I’m gay.” Before a student makes a statement that reveals they have embraced an identity, there is much deliberation. But parents and the church are not included in these conversations. Worse yet, we’re not sure what we would say if we were. In this breakout, we’ll lay a foundation for how to invite these conversations and how to respond.
