Connecting with Your Community through Prayer and Meeting Needs
Breakout Description:
This breakout will serve to help churches learn how to seek the peace of their community through service and prayers showing how God prospers communities through His people's prayers and hands.
Speaker Bio:
Jarrian "JayWill" Wilson is the Planting and Lead Pastor of City of Refuge Church. A young church that is "Seeking to Call all to Jesus, To Connect as a growing Family, and live Commissioned as Kingdom Citizens" in the Eau Claire community. City of Refuge was born out of a burden that the Lord laid on Jarrian's heart for a faithful, gospel-centered church that sought to reach his neighbors with the transformative Gospel of Jesus Christ. And though it has been a monumental feat, the Lord has been faithful, and on April 9th City of Refuge will celebrate its two year anniversary. Jarrian also serves with the Metro Baptist Association as the Church Planting Catalyst, seeking to help churches develop missional strategies to prepare and plant more churches in the Columbia Metro footprint. His vision in this role is to see his city saturated with God's glory through healthy disciple-making churches that, in turn, plant more churches. He brings to this role close to a decade of wisdom on evangelistic and missional strategies for church planting through both learned and applied experience. Also, currently, Jarrian is pursuing his Master's in Divinity from the Reformed Theological Seminary, which he hopes to complete soon. Lastly and most importantly, Jarrian is Zion Wilson's father (11) and husband to Krystal Wilson of 12 years. Whom he adores and sees as the greatest gift that the Lord blessed him with besides the grace of Jesus.
