Pastored by Chris Richards, Steel City Church exists to learn and live the ways of Jesus.

Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Richards invites SCBaptists to unite in prayer for the church as they passionately serve their neighborhood of Greenfield, encompassing approximately 8,000 individuals. Recognizing the significance of collective effort, Richards expresses gratitude for the generous contributions of SCBaptists the Cooperative Program, which enables their mission to spread the transformative power of the Gospel. The church, started in 2020, has a clear vision vision: to partner with healthy, disciple-making communities or churches in every one of Pittsburgh’s 90 city neighborhoods and 7 universities and colleges.

Pray for:

• The church to be intentional about connecting with each other and those in their city through Connect Groups
• Efforts to reach college students from University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, Carnegie Mellon University, and other universities throughout the city
• Children to know Christ through Yinz Kids, Steel City’s children’s ministry
• Community outreach efforts to engage with people who are disconnected from Jesus and the church
