Poverty 101: Understanding & Ministering to Those in Generational Poverty

Church Staff, Heart4Schools Leaders, and School Administrators are encouraged to join us as we look at questions such as:

• What does poverty really look like?
• How is generational poverty different than situational poverty?
• What are the values, behaviors, and thoughts of those in generational poverty?
• What should I understand about poverty as I mentor students or meet with my Reading Buddy?  As I respond to requests from social workers and guidance counselors?
• How can I partner and provide support in a healthy manner?
